1. What DevFeed is

DevFeed is a reader for engineering blogs. We collect Feed Articles from publisher feeds and APIs, display them in a reading interface, and generate Reading notes and optional Personal Briefings from Sources you follow and topics you watch.

2. Your account

You need an account to use DevFeed. When registration is available, you can create one with email or through GitHub or Google. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person—don't share accounts or create multiple ones.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or remain inactive for an extended period. You can delete your account at any time from your settings page.

3. Content and copyright

Feed Articles displayed on DevFeed come from publisher feeds and APIs, including RSS feeds readers add. The original work belongs to its respective authors and organizations; DevFeed does not claim ownership of third-party content.

AI-generated Reading notes and Personal Briefings are derivative works created for your personal use. They are not a substitute for reading the original Feed Articles and should not be republished or redistributed.

If you are a content owner and want your blog removed from DevFeed, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

4. Acceptable use

When you choose to play an embedded YouTube video, you also use YouTube under the YouTube Terms of Service. DevFeed does not start the YouTube player until you select the play action.

Don't misuse DevFeed. This includes:

• Scraping or bulk-downloading articles through the platform
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
• Using automated tools to interact with DevFeed beyond its intended interface
• Reselling or redistributing AI-generated Personal Briefings commercially

5. Paid features

DevFeed may offer paid subscription tiers. Payments are processed through Stripe. Unless a price is explicitly labeled tax-inclusive, applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes may be calculated and added at checkout based on your billing location.

You can cancel a Stripe-managed subscription from Settings through the Stripe Billing Portal. Cancellation stops future renewals, and Briefing Plan access remains available until the end of the current paid billing period unless Stripe or support tells you otherwise.

Paid subscription charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where we confirm a duplicate charge, billing error, account takeover, or similar exceptional issue. For billing help or cancellation problems, email [email protected].

We may keep billing, security, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution records as needed to operate paid accounts, respond to support requests, and defend against payment disputes or abuse.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep DevFeed running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, update these terms, or discontinue the service. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform.

7. Limitation of liability

DevFeed is provided "as is." We are not liable for the accuracy of third-party content or AI-generated summaries, any loss of data, or decisions made based on content displayed on DevFeed. Use your own judgment when reading summaries—they can contain errors or miss nuance.
