Remember-me cookie
If you check "Remember me" during sign-in, this cookie keeps you logged in across browser sessions. Expires after 2 weeks.
CSRF token
Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a security measure built into the framework and is essential for safe operation.
Theme preference
Stores your selected theme preset in browser local storage so the interface can apply your choice before the page paints.
What we don't use
DevFeed does not use:
- Third-party tracking cookies
- Advertising cookies
- Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Social media tracking pixels
If we add non-essential analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies later, this policy and any consent flow will need to be updated before launch.
Third-party font requests
DevFeed loads Google Fonts and Material Symbols from Google-hosted font domains. Google Fonts does not set or log cookies for these font requests, but the request can include standard network metadata such as IP address, requested URL, user-agent, and referrer. We treat this as a disclosed third-party font request, not analytics or advertising tracking.
Managing cookies and local storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to DevFeed, and clearing local storage resets your theme preference.
