Stores whether you allowed or declined optional analytics so DevFeed can honor that choice on later visits.

If you check "Remember me" during sign-in, this cookie keeps you logged in across browser sessions. Expires after 2 weeks.

What we don't use

DevFeed does not use:

  • Analytics cookies without your consent
  • DevFeed advertising cookies; a user-activated YouTube player may use storage or show ads under Google's policies
  • Social media tracking pixels

DevFeed does not set its own advertising cookies. A user-activated YouTube player may use third-party storage or show ads under Google's policies. Optional PostHog analytics is enabled only after you grant consent in the site prompt.

Third-party font requests

DevFeed loads Google Fonts and Material Symbols from Google-hosted font domains. Google Fonts does not set or log cookies for these font requests, but the request can include standard network metadata such as IP address, requested URL, user-agent, and referrer. We treat this as a disclosed third-party font request, not analytics or advertising tracking.

Managing cookies and local storage

You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to DevFeed. Clearing local storage removes the preferences and history listed above, so DevFeed will ask for your analytics choice again.
